Important Highlights:

• Minor Change to Open Enrollment Instructions: Please note the minor change to access the Open Enrollment application within the EBS portal and follow the instructions on the Enrollment Instructions page. 
• REMINDER–Spouse/OEI Affidavit No Longer Required: As a reminder, you no longer need to complete the spouse/other eligible individual (OEI) affidavit in the EBS Portal to continue coverage for your spouse/OEI. If you currently cover a spouse/OEI on your health care plan, their coverage will automatically continue in 2027 without any action. However, the spouse/OEI premium threshold requirement still applies. To enroll your spouse/OEI in MSU coverage, your spouse/OEI must enroll in health care coverage through their own current or former employer if the annual premium cost for single-person coverage is $1,850 or less. You may still cover your spouse/OEI on your MSU health coverage as a secondary plan. Please review the Open Enrollment FAQ page for more information.

The retiree health plan vendors, Humana and Personify Health, will be presenting during the MSU Benefits Fair on October 22 at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center at the following times: 

• MSU Medicare Advantage Plan presented by Humana: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. | 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
• MSU Non-Medicare Plan presented by Personify Health: 2 to 3 p.m.

To help consumers compare various plans, Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) documents, such as those provided at the link below, are laid out in a specific format and include specific groupings of information determined by the ACA. The following SBC documents are available for the health plan options MSU makes available to benefits-eligible employees. Not all individuals are eligible for all plans.
