Holiday Posting Schedule

Staffing requests for the Support Staff Position Vacancy Notices are due to Human Resources (HR) by noon every Friday via the HR/Payroll Inbox in the EBS Portal. All staffing requests received by this time will be posted the following Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m., provided all pertinent information is submitted. Applicant lists will be made available by Noon on Monday following the posting close date.

Note: The Friday posting deadline is sometimes amended because of the MSU Holiday Schedule. Below are the adjustments made for our 2024/2025 holiday schedule.

2024/2025 Holiday Posting Schedule 

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 15, 2024:
  Due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, are due by noon on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, January 9, 2024, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
• Memorial Day, May 27, 2024:

  Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will post on May 29, 2024, are due by noon on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, May 22, 2024, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

• July 4, 2024 Fourth of July Holiday:

  Due to the July 4th Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will post on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday July 3, 2024. Applicant lists for postings that closed on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, will be made available to departments by noon Monday, July 1, 2024.

• Labor Day, September 2, 2024:

  Due to the Labor Day Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will post on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, are due by noon on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, August 27, 2024, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

• Thanksgiving, November 28 & 29, 2024:
  Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on December 4, 2024, are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, November 26, 2024, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

• Winter Break, December 24, 2024– January 2, 2025:
  There will be no postings published on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, or Wednesday, January 1, 2024. The last posting cycle for 2024 will be Wednesday, December 18. Position request forms are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024. These postings will close January 7, 2025. Applicant lists will be made available to departments by noon Monday, January 13, 2025.

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 20, 2025:
  Due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, are due by noon on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, January 14, 2025, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
