Introducing ALEX for Leave of Absence

Leave of absence – as an administrator, supervisor or HR professional, you appreciate how employees might feel uncertain or confused about what a leave of absence or FMLA is or how to use it. Life happens, and we want to provide tools and resources for MSU employees to get answers to their questions.

That’s why we at MSU HR are pleased to introduce the ALEX for Leave of Absence tool. This is similar to the ALEX Virtual Benefits Counselor you may remember during open enrollment, and it acts very similar. ALEX is an interactive tool that asks employees questions and walks them through the process of taking time away from work.
