Critical Dates

Fall Semester 2026

Friday, June 19, 2026: Due date for Fall 2026 Assistantship forms to be received by MSU Human Resources via EBS Workflow in order to be processed on time for Payroll.
- NOTE: Forms received after this date will continue to be reviewed according to payroll deadlines.
Wednesday, July 1, 2026: Due date for Teaching Assistant offer letters for Fall 2026.
Wednesday, July 1, 2026: Due date for Research and Teaching Excluded Assistant offer letters for Fall 2026.
Wednesday, September 30, 2026: Residency Exception Requests for tuition waivers and health insurance will only be processed based on approved appointments within EBS.

Spring Semester 2027

Friday, October 16, 2026: Due date for Spring 2027 Assistantship forms to be received by MSU Human Resources via EBS workflow in order to be processed on time for Payroll.
- NOTE: Forms received after this date will continue to be reviewed according to payroll deadlines.
Tuesday, December 1, 2026: Due date for Teaching Assistant offer letters for Spring 2027 or offer letters combining both Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
Tuesday, December 1, 2026: Due date for Research and Teaching Excluded Assistant offer letters for Spring 2027 or offer letters combining both Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
Monday, February 1, 2027: Residency Exception Requests for tuition waivers and health insurance will only be processed based on approved appointments within EBS.

Summer Semester 2027

Friday, March 26, 2027: Due date for Summer 2027 Assistantship forms to be received by MSU Human Resources via EBS Workflow in order to be processed on time for Payroll.

Saturday, May 1, 2027: Due date for Teaching Assistant offer letters for Summer 2027.
