About the Recognition Program
The MSU Service and Retirement Recognition reception is held annually in the spring, during which the university honors long-term support staff celebrating a 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, or 55th service anniversary or a retirement from the previous calendar year.
We are thankful for our employees’ dedicated service to MSU and look forward to celebrating our employees at this event for their talent, loyalty, and contributions to MSU. Our university’s development and growth have been, in large part, due to the contributions made by staff members like them, particularly those who have chosen to remain in the service of the university.
Gifts from OC Tanner
Years of Service Honorees: The recognition program has been customized so that each employee celebrating a years of service milestone may select a gift to meet their individual tastes and preferences. Gifts are provided by O.C. Tanner and will be offered via email to 2026 service anniversary honorees approximately three weeks before the event. The email for gifts will come from Award Store, order@octanner.com. If you are expecting a gift and have not received the email, please check your "other/junk/spam" folders. If you cannot locate your unique code or need assistance regarding your gift order, please contact OC Tanner directly through their webpage, Contact Customer Service.
Retirees: The year following your retirement, you will automatically receive a commemorative gift with no action necessary.
