University Archives: Transferring Permanent and Historical Records

In part two of the Records Management at MSU training series, you'll learn how university departments create permanent and historical records that tell the story of their office. When these materials are no longer actively used, they must be transferred to the MSU archives. During this course, you will identify what materials to send, and how to complete a transmittal form. It is recommended that you attend "Record Retention and Destruction" prior to this session.
