Faculty/Academic Staff Development Programs

The Academic Advancement Network (AAN) works with all faculty, academic staff, and academic administrators at Michigan State University as they join the university, establish professional trajectories, and move through various stages of review, promotion, and growth. We are building on the foundations established by our predecessor, the Office of Faculty & Organizational Development.

The AAN's leadership team is dedicated to advancing academic careers through inclusive collaborative, and experiential learning. Through our workshops, flexible cohort programs, and individualized mentoring, the AAN helps faculty and academic specialists grow professionally in the intertwined areas of Teaching and Learning, Research and Scholarship, Acadmic Career Paths, and Leadership Development. Our website provides information about and access to our current offerings.
