Retirement Programs

VII. FACULTY AND ACADEMIC STAFF BENEFIT AND RETIREMENT PROGRAMS (Cont.)

Participation in the 403(b) Base Retirement Program generally is initially voluntary with enrollment mandatory at age 35 and 24 full-time equivalent (FTE) service months (please see the Base Retirement Program Eligibility for more detail). Participation in the 403(b) Supplemental Retirement Program and/or the 457 (b) Deferred Compensation Plan is optional at any time.
