During a workshop hosted by the Academic Advancement Network called "Students Speak: LGBT Students in the Classroom," members of the MSU Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transgender Resource Center and the Office of Institutional Equity discussed some of the nuances of sexual and gender identity and expression. Learn practical tips on including members of the LGBTQIA community in the classroom.

Mark your calendars! Registration for the Teaching and Learning Spring Conference and the Student Success Summit on May 7-10 will open on February 26. The conference aims to leverage the campus community’s collective skills and knowledge about teaching, learning, and administrative processes to advance student persistence and success, and benefit the entire university community. Electronic City Income Tax Withholding Now Available

Employees are now able to initiate or change their city income tax elections electronically through the EBS Portal. If you are a resident of or work in a city that imposes an income tax, you are required to register to withhold city work location taxes. You can complete this process in EBS by selecting the W-4 Tax Withholding tile. See the W-4 City Income Tax Withholding Guide for detailed instructions. If you have any questions or need assistance, call the Payroll department at 517-355-5010.
