Data definitions (HRP798)

The data columns used in the Faculty, Academic Staff and Executive Managers in an Organization report are defined on this page.

  1. Professional Name: The employee’s name as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  2. Personnel Number: An HR/Payroll system generated number linking a person to their assignment.
  3. Employee Group Name: Union, Non-Union, Non-Employee/No Pay. The employee group allows you to divide your employees into groups and allows you to define their relationship to the enterprise. It classifies employees into general groups for processing of Payroll, Time, and Benefits.
  4. Employee Subgroup Code & Name: A further breakdown of Employee Group. All control features of the Personnel Structure are defined at the Employee Subgroup level.
  5. Organization Code-Name: The primary college or MAU code and name in which the employee is assigned.
  6. Department Code-Name: The primary department code and name in which the employee is assigned.
  7. Assignment Type: The employee’s assignment type (i.e., Adjunct, Clinical, Visiting, Emeritus, Interim, Acting).
  8. Job Title: The employee’s primary job title or classification in which the employee is assigned.
  9. Department Reports 2 Code-Name (3, 4 and 5): The second department code and name related to the primary department in which the employee is assigned. If applicable, the third, fourth and fifth department codes and names are also shown if assigned.
  10. FAS Additional Assignment 2 Name (3, 4, and 5): The employee’s second assignment job title in which the employee is assigned. If applicable, the third, fourth and fifth assignment job titles are also shown if assigned.
  11. FAS Additional Assignment Departments 1 Code-Name (2, 3, 4, and 5): The primary department code and name assigned to the employee’s second assignment. If applicable, the third, fourth and fifth department codes and names are also shown based on assignment.
  12. Degree(s) and Granting Institution(s): Education degrees and certificates held by the employee and the granting institution name.
  13. Annual Salary: The employee’s base salary for a full year at 100% employment.
  14. Capacity Utilization Level: The percent of employment the employee is working.
  15. Protected Veteran Status: The employee’s veteran status as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  16. Disability Status: The employee’s disability status as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  17. Gender Name: The employee’s gender as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  18. Birth Date: The employee’s birth date as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  19. Race/Ethnicity: The employee’s race/ethnicity as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  20. Continuous Service Date: The date the employee was hired without any breaks in service.
  21. Date Entered Tenure Cont System: Indicates the date the employee was entered in the tenure/continuing system.
  22. Tenure Cont Status Granted Date: Indicates the date the department granted the employee tenure/continuing status.
  23. Admin Title Begin Date: Indicates the start date of the employee’s administrative title.
  24. Time in Level Date: The date the employee entered the position level.
  25. Status Name: Indicates the employee’s tenure status.
  26. Contract Name: The employee’s work contract (if applicable): Fixed Term, Tenure/Contin, Contract, Roll/Fixed Cntr.
