Promotion
Promotion is defined as the movement by an employee from a current grade level to a higher grade level and is governed by the applicable union contract.
Promotion can result from reclassification or from being selected as the successful candidate for a higher level position.
Forms
To initiate a classification review or request that a new position be established, the department administrator should complete a Staffing Request form. After obtaining the appropriate signatures, this form should be submitted to Human Resources Compensation, Suite 110, Nisbet Building.
