Organization & Employee Development (OED), a functional area of Human Resources, offers a wide range of learning opportunities to help support staff meet their professional development goals. They provide HRD instructor-led classes, certificate programs, mentoring, leadership development and custom departmental programs, in addition to administering the Educational Assistance and Course Fee Courtesy programs. A number of options are available to assist in improving organizational effectiveness, including departmental assessments, conflict resolution, team building, management coaching, strategic planning, change management and more. The Office of Faculty and Organizational Development (F&OD) supports MSU faculty, academic staff and administrators in their ongoing quest for excellence in teaching, research, outreach, and leadership. To accomplish this goal, we offer a broad range of seminars and programs, services, and resources in two programmatic strands: faculty development and organizational/leadership development.
