MSU Abrams Planetarium (355-4672): The Sky Theater houses a Digistar, the world's only computer-graphic based planetarium projector, a black light art gallery, exhibit hall, gift counter and more. Admission costs are: Adults - $3.00 and Children - $2.00. Special shows designed for families are presented on Sundays.
MSU Athletic Events (355-1610): Tickets can be purchased for all athletic events based on availability. Discounts are available on season tickets only. Go Green cards can be purchased by Faculty/Staff for $50.00 for admittance to all regular home season Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Men's/Women's Soccer, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Softball and Baseball.
MSU Kresge Art Museum (353-9834): Displays include collections from prehistoric to 20th century art with sections devoted to African, Asian, and pre-Columbian Art. Admission is free.
MSU Museum (355-2370): Displays anthropological, biological, geological, and historical and research collections in natural and cultural sciences, history, and folk-life. Admission is free, however a donation is suggested.
MSU School of Music (355-3345): Concerts and recitals performed by faculty and student soloists, ensembles and guest artists. Performances are reasonably priced. Refer to the School of Music website for current events and ticket prices.
MSU Wharton Center for Performing Arts (353-1982): Offers a full schedule of touring Broadway shows, leading dance troupes, world-famous soloists, and ensembles. Discounts are given to Wharton Center subscribers and occasional 10-15% discounts on select performances are given to MSU employees.
Cingular - Now the new AT&T - (1-800-331-0500) Cingular is proud to offer MSU employees with a valid email address or proof of employment (pay stub or ID card) a 15% discount on all rate plans $39.99 or higher and a 25% discount on all accessories. MSU Computer Store (353-0722): The MSU Computer Store offers you prices on computers that you are unable to get almost anywhere else. Because they exclusively sell to MSU students, faculty, staff and departments, merchandise is sold at special educational discounts.
Spartan Bookstore (355-3450): The bookstore offers new and used textbooks, clothing and souvenirs, academic supplies, software and electronics and more. A 10% discount is offered on all purchases with the exception of software and electronic items.
MSU Evening College (355-4562): Evening and weekend noncredit personal enrichment courses are offered every fall and spring semester. Courses and prices may vary. Call for a brochure.
MSU Libraries (353-8700): The Library offers unlimited access to library services, books, periodicals, magazines, and databases. Employees should present MSU ID to receive free services.
MSU Women’s Resource Center: The Center is committed to creating and implementing strategies that promote the status of women; various workshops, seminars and programs are offered throughout the year and are available to the MSU community.
MSU LIR Human Resources Education and Training Center The School of Labor and Industrial Relations offers conferences and seminars on a variety of human resources and labor relations topics. MSU employees receive a 25% discount on all programs.
The College Store (333-0505): This bookstore offers new and used textbooks, clothing and souvenirs, academic supplies, software and electronics and more. A 10% discount on regular priced merchandise is offered on all purchases with the exception of course packs, software and electronic items.

GMAC Insurance (1-800-847-2886): MSU employees receive special auto rates when using the GM Supplier discount. Discounts vary by state.
MSU Cashier’s Office (353-5023): The Cashier’s office provides personal check cashing and postage stamps for a nominal fee of $1.00.
MSU Federal Credit Union: The Credit Union provides financial services to MSU employees including auto and home loans, and free use of ATM’s on-campus and at Quality Dairy stores. Members of the MSUFCU are also eligible for discounts on auto and homeowners insurance through AAA and Citizens’ MEEMIC, and discount tickets from Cedar Point, Sea World, and Greenfield Village.
MSU Dairy Store (353-8446): The Dairy Store produces a variety of ice creams and cheeses on site. Products are moderately priced and taste great!!
MSU Housing and Food Services (355-7457): If you're on campus, tired of eating fast food and looking for a well-balanced nutritional meal, visit a residence hall for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. MSU employees can purchase tickets at special meal plan rates.
MSU Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center The hotel's gracious dining facility, the State Room Restaurant, is perfect for relaxing after the day's activities. The State Room Restaurant features a coffee bar and seasonal menu choices. If you want to unwind with friends and drinks, join us in our new KC's Lounge, located across from the State Room. It features a full bar along with limited food service.

The University Club of Michigan State University offers fabulous dining and entertainment, leisurely tennis, swimming and golf, a world-class fitness center and spa in an environment of casual elegance and personal service. Curves for Women – MSU employees receive one free week to try Curves with no obligation, and a $10.00 discount off the service fee at the time they become a member. The initial service fee may vary depending on the discount in place at any given time during the year. This offer is good at the following Curves fitness centers: East Lansing (332-9611), Meridian Township (339-4030), and Grand Ledge (622-8400).
Jones Vision Center (332-2233): A 20% discount on frames, lenses and materials is available. An MSU employee ID is required to receive the discount.
Michigan Athletic Club (337-0002): This private fitness club includes amenities and services such as pools, saunas, tennis courts, basketball courts, weight training equipment, aerobics classes, and massage therapy. MSU employees that are insured by Physicians Health Plan receive a 50% discount on the initiation fee.
Family Resource Center (432-3745 x146): Educational programs and support, including Sick Child Care Service, Pregnancy Support, Student-Parent support, and Elder Care Referrals are offered to MSU employees and students. Rates vary by program. "Things to do at MSU" is a free publication that highlights sights of interest at MSU and in the surrounding area.
MSU Health Team and Olin Health Center Pharmacies (353-3000): Prescription and over-the-counter medications are provided at competitive prices. Delivery of medications to on-campus locations is available at no charge.
MSU Employee Assistance Program (355-4506): Provides personal support, problem solving, counseling and consultation to MSU employees and to their immediate family members.
MSU Health4U (353-2696): Health4U aims to enhance and expand wellness efforts in partnership with units throughout the University and the community. They offer a wide variety of services are to support individuals in achieving a healthier, happier, longer life. Health4U’s ultimate goal is the good health of all members of the MSU community.
MSU Intramural (IM) Sports Facilities: MSU Intramural (IM) Sports Facilities (IM Sports West: 355-5250; IM Sports East: 353-3136; IM Sports Circle: 355-4710) Access to buildings and indoor pools for general recreational use is free. Fitness Center, Group Exercise classes, organized leagues, and Club Sports is fee based and varies according to selected activity. MSU Safe Place (355-1100): This program assists students, staff, faculty, alumni, retirees and their partners who experience relationship violence. Services include shelter, advocacy, support counseling, community educational programs and more. All services are confidential and free.

MSU Bike Service Center (432-3400) : The MSU Bike Service Center, located in the center of campus under the Bessey Hall auditorium just 200 ft. northwest of the Farm Lane Bridge, provides a full range of bicycle repair services for varying fees. Bike rentals (short and long term) are also offered as are a variety of bike-related accessories (tires, tubes, lights, fenders, helmets, tools, oils, etc.). Other services include free 24-hour air access, bike storage, bike assembly (for those shipping their bikes to MSU), and a ‘do-it-yourself’ bench can also be rented for those who know how to do their own repairs. A number of classes related to bicycling maintenance, safety, commuting are also offered. A growing library of bike books and videos/ DVDs can also be checked out for free. The Center’s hours vary by semester; check the web site for current hours or call.
MSU Canoe Rentals (432-3400): Rent a canoe at the MSU Bike Service Center and cruise up the Red Cedar River that follows the Red Cedar all the way to the State Capitol and beyond. The MSU Bike Service Center is located in the center of campus under the Bessey Hall auditorium just 200 ft. northwest of the Farm Lane Bridge. Restrooms and lockers available. The Center is open Monday thru Friday; public hours vary by semester and canoe rentals are subject to water conditions; check the web site for current hours or call ahead to reserve a canoe. MSU Forest Akers Golf Course (355-1635): The golf course offers two 18-hole championship layouts, a state-of-the-art practice facility, and two full-service golf shops with a full complement of services. Employees with MSU ID card receive reduced rates.
MSU Munn Ice Arena (353-7263): The ice facility provides a public skating schedule during the year. Employees receive discounted rates with valid MSU ID.
MSU Tennis Facility (355-2209): MSU employees have access to MSU's indoor tennis facility, professional instruction, equipment rental and Pro-shop. MSU employees and retirees receive a discount with a valid MSU employee ID.
Avis Car Rental (323-9132 or 372-8972): A 10% discount on car rentals is available at all corporate locations only. The AWD code is: V947031 and is required to obtain the discount.
Budget Car Rental (321-2072): A 10% discount on car rentals is available at all locations. The BCD code is V174056 and is required to obtain the discount.
CATA (355-8440): On-campus bus transportation is provided to MSU employees free of charge with a valid Employee Bus pass. MSU Employee Bus passes may be obtained by contacting the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety, Parking Office. The regular adult fare is $1.00 for individuals who do not have a bus pass.
Capital Honda MSU Employees receive a 10% discount (not to exceed $50.00 per visit) on service labor. A valid MSU employee ID is required.
