Questions and Answers About Contacting Healthy State

Q. What is the purpose of the “Contact Healthy State” feature on this Web site?
A. The purpose is to allow members of the MSU Community a chance to give us feedback about this site and contribute any thoughts or ideas you have on the health care cost challenge at MSU. You can also use this feedback mechanism to let us know what additional materials you might find interesting or useful to appear on the site in future weeks and months.

Q. What happens to the feedback after I submit it through “Contact Healthy State”?
A. Questions are forwarded to Human Resources at the following e-mail address: hrmail@msu.edu. HR staff members monitor this e-mail box and will pass feedback on to the people who are developing Web site content as well as the groups currently working on this issue, such as the Health Care Strategy Advisory Committee, the Joint Health Care Committee and the University Committee on Faculty Affairs.

Q. If the mail gets forwarded to hrmail@msu.edu anyway, can I just send my feedback directly there instead of using the form on the Web site?
A. Yes, you can submit your feedback through the Web site or via e-mail directly to hrmail@msu.edu.

Q. Can I submit feedback anonymously?
A. Yes. When you submit feedback using the “Contact Healthy State” Web site form, you do not have to fill in the boxes that ask for your name and contact information. Just put your comments in the box and submit without providing any other identifying information and the feedback will be forwarded to hrmail@msu.edu without any identifying information about you. If you e-mail your feedback directly to hrmail@msu.edu without using the Web site’s “Contact Healthy State” option, then your e-mail address will be associated with your feedback.

Q. Will I receive a direct response to my feedback?
A. Not necessarily. Due to the potentially high volume of ideas and comments we may receive and the fact that some people may choose to submit feedback anonymously, we may not be able to send a direct response to each piece of feedback. But we do guarantee you that your feedback will reach the individuals and groups engaged in working on the health care challenge. In addition, if we get a lot of questions that are similar, we will develop Web site content to try to answer those questions. Please use this site and the hrmail@msu.edu e-mail box to send us ideas and feedback on the health care cost challenge and this Web site only. If you have questions about your benefits or need help resolving a benefits-related problem that affects only you, please call the benefits service center at 353-4434 or 1-800-353-4434 instead of submitting your question to this site. This will ensure that you get prompt help with any personal questions you have that require an immediate response.

Your ideas and feedback can help MSU succeed at facing the health care cost challenge. Thank you in advance for contributing your thoughts and ideas!
