3.1 Salaries - HP Faculty Handbook
Salaries for Health Programs Faculty members will be composed of two components, a base salary, and a Health Services Related Component (HSRC) for faculty in Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine or Individual Distribution Plan (IDP) for the College of Nursing. HP faculty in the College of Veterinary Medicine will receive a base salary only.
Base salaries will be paid in twelve monthly installments on the last working day of each month. It is permitted that individuals can be appointed in this personnel system who are part-time, e.g., .50 or .75 F.T.E. appointments. However, academic year appointments are not permitted4. In the case of a part-time employee, their salaries will also be paid in monthly installments.
Health Services Related Salary Components (HSRC's) and Individual Distribution Plans (IDP's) are paid quarterly at a negotiated level dependent upon patient care and services earnings when applicable.
