2010-11-08 Notice of Potential Lapse in Your FSA Enrollment

Our records indicate that you are currently enrolled in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for the calendar year 2010 but have not yet re-enrolled for the 2011 plan year.  We are sending this e-mail as a courtesy to remind you that the IRS requires that employees must re-enroll each and every plan year in order to continue participating in an FSA.  

If you do not wish to participate in a Flexible Spending Account again in 2011, then simply disregard this notice.  However, if you do want to use an FSA again in 2011, please note that you must complete FSA Open Enrollment by today, November 8, 2010.

To enroll online, please go to www.hr.msu.edu, click eHR and log in.  
Once you are logged in, choose the Benefits Enrollments and Information link followed by the Benefits Enrollment/Changes link. Click on the FSA Open Enrollment link and then on the next page choose the Flexible Spending Account Open Enrollment link.

A special note to current enrollees — please keep your current HCSA debit card — you will use the same card in 2011. Additional cards may be ordered from Meritain Health at a cost of $5 per card.
