Dental Coverage

MSU offers dental coverage administered by Delta Dental Plan of Michigan (traditional dental) and Aetna (a dental maintenance organization) for regular full-time and part-time (50%-89.9%) faculty, academic and support staff employees. New employees have 60 days from the date of appointment to enroll.

Payroll deductions for dental premium, if applicable, are withheld on a pre-tax basis (before federal, state, city and social security taxes are calculated), so employees will save money on their premium.
