Foundations of Medical-Technical Communication at MSU
Objective
This four-session series builds participants' medical-technical communication skills. Content focuses on foundational medical vocabulary knowledge and introduces participants to medical coding and transcription.
Target Audience
Employees currently working in support staff positions in medical or related areas who want to enhance their medical-technical communication skills. This series is also appropriate for those interested in enhancing career opportunities at MSU.

Participants wishing to receive the series certificate of completion need to complete all four sessions.

Participants who elect to take only Fundamentals of Medical Coding and/or Basics of Medical Transcription must have experience with application of medical vocabulary.
