Objective
The ability to communicate effectively – in writing, on the phone, over e-mail, and face to face – is essential for professional success, regardless of an employee’s level, role, or unit of employment. Foundations of Effective Business Communications addresses many aspects of written and verbal communication. Participants have the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of course offerings and tailor the series to meet their own professional development objectives in this important area.

Participation and Certificate of Completion
Participants wishing to receive the series Certificate of Completion must complete a total of four classes, including one grammar or writing class (marked G) and one interpersonal communication skills class (marked I). It is recommended that participants complete the series within one academic year.
