As a supervisor, you should:
- know MSU's policy on sexual harassment and recommended procedures for handling complaints of sexual harassment;
- know EEOC and state regulations which pertain to sexual harassment - consult with the Ombudsman, the Director of the Division of Women's Programs or the Executive Secretary to the Anti-Discrimination Judicial Board if necessary;
In processing sexual harassment complaints, the responsible administrator will normally confer with the Office of the General Counsel and academic or human resources administrators. Guidelines for investigating allegations of sexual harassment are available to administrators.
