ARTICLE 1

         

AGREEMENT

                     

  I.        This Agreement is made by and between the Board of Trustees of Michigan State University and the Clerical-Technical Union of Michigan State University and shall be effective from and after April 1, 2007 until and including March 31, 2011, with respect to all provisions of this Agreement except as specifically noted.

 

 II.         The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth terms and condi­tions of employment, to establish the machinery for collective bargaining, and to promote orderly and productive relations between Michigan State University and its employees with the expectation that its implementation will enhance the ability of the University to serve its constituents.

 

III.         To the above end, it is the intent of the parties to abide by the terms of this Agreement at all times.
