05. Fixed-Term Appointments

CA appointments at any rank and in any professional area may also be made on a fixed term basis with an ending date specified at the time of appointment. Such appointments will normally be for a period of one year or less and may be renewed at the discretion of the Laboratory. Such appointments do not convey Continuing Status at any time irrespective of the number of times the appointment is renewed.
