Online Enrollment is available to students that are Domestic Undergraduate, Domestic Graduate, and Detroit College of Law. Students may also enroll a spouse and/or dependents. Students can enroll online at Chickering's Website.

The premium for spouses and eligible dependents of Graduate Assistants are partially funded by Michigan State University. For the 2007/2008 academic year, MSU will contribute $1,300 (annually) towards the cost of a spouse or child and $1,600 (annually) towards the cost of a spouse and/or multiple dependents. For more information on Graduate Assistantships please visit the Office of Planning and Budgets website.

Enrollment Deadlines

Enrollment applications must be received by The Chickering Group or the MSU Human Resources Benefits Office no later than the dates indicated below:

Enrollment after the deadlines specified above is allowed only for the loss of other health insurance coverage, marriage or the birth of a child.  You must contact the MSU Human Resources Benefits Office within 31 days of losing other coverage, marriage, or birth of a child.

Referrals from Olin Health Center

Referrals from Olin must be renewed each policy year (beginning August 15th) for continuing treatment to be covered.

A separate referral is required for each diagnosed condition.
