Subject: 2006 Benefits Open Enrollment Reminder
As a reminder, MSU Benefits Open Enrollment began April 17th and will conclude May 8th with changes effective July 1, 2006.
If you are an MSU employee and ANY of the following statements are true, then you do need to participate in Open Enrollment:
You currently cover a spouse or an MSU-recognized same-sex domestic partner under your benefits and you want to continue that coverage during the 2006-07 benefits year.
You want to add an eligible dependent to your health, dental or life insurance benefits (or you want to remove someone from your benefits).
You want to switch health or dental plans for yourself and your eligible dependents.
You want to change life insurance options for yourself and/or your eligible dependents.
If you are considering enrollment in the Aetna Dental Maintenance Organization, please remember there are currently only four approved providers in the Lansing/Okemos area.
